“The Last Hope” a new independent short film in development by Deedenow Cinema and Remspot Italy

Deedenow Cinema Afghanistan and Remspot Italy are announcing the launch of project of another short film titled “The Last Hope”.

This new short in development will be shot in December this year, if the weather will not be challenging.

The casting for the major roles is done and in a few days the pre-production process begins.

“The Last Hope” depicts the life of an Afghan-Hazara Refugee Champion of Kick- Boxing in Italy, surrounded with numerous challenges but still struggles to realize his biggest dream that is to win The World Championship!

Deedenow Cinema Afghanistan and Remspot Italy are collaborating in co-production of independent short and feature films with social subjects with a specific view on the importance of common humanitarian values and interests. The themes such as; immigration, refuge, social integration, racism, social injustice and “women’s and minorities’ rights” are the main subjects these two production houses work on.

There are two feature films in plan for the coming year 2012 by Deedenow Cinema Afghanistan and Remspot Italy;

“Misunderstanding” a feature film on immigration and social integration in Italy and

“Anche Gli Alberi Piangono” another feature film on “diversity and rights of minor groups of the society in Italy.

Deedenow Cinema Afghanistan and Remspot Italy are looking for co-producers for these two features for 2012.
